Read by Dr Rick Turner:  Cheshire County Archaeologist who found Lindow Man in 1984.   

This recording was made for The Science and Beauty of Peatlands, a series of interactive displays presented by The School of Science and The Environment, Manchester Met. University in 2016 at the Hulme Garden Centre as part of the Manchester Science Festival.  Sadly Rick passed away on 27th June 2018.

Special permission was given by Rick’s widow Helen to make Rick’s voice recording available as part of the Inspired by Lindow Exhibition in September 2022 (part of the Wilmslow Festival of Nature).
